The Ketl web application is accessible by logging into app.ketl.ch. Ketl will launch directly in your browser window.

Overview

Almost all the features of the web application are available on mobile.

Ketl should work on most modern browsers. We recommend Chrome or Safari and do our best to maintain support for other popular browsers such as Firefox and Brave.

Full Procedure for Onboarding a New Ketl User

We provide a "standard" procedure to follow when a new employee joins your organization and will need to use Ketl. This procedure covers steps to be taken with external parties outside of Ketl (IT, third-party software providers). Ketl is not responsible for completing certain tasks but is available to guide you if necessary. Some steps contain specifics unique to your organization. We recommend adapting the proposed procedure below (such as adding the names of different SharePoint sites or email addresses to be added).

  Ask your IT department to create a Microsoft 365 account with access to the SharePoint sites used by your organization with Ketl (typically a SharePoint site containing client information such as "AFFAIRES", "CLIENTS"...). If users need access to shared mailboxes, be sure to inform your IT department.

  • If a ForenSys client: Request Ketl activation for the user through Eyetek via the support tool integrated into ForenSys.
  • If you are using Ketl without third-party connectors, your organization's Ketl administrator can create a new Ketl user.
  • Ketl onboarding preparation: Inform Ketl of the activation request and, if desired, schedule a training session via support@ketl.ch or your usual point of contact.
  • User account activation: Once the activation by Eyetek is confirmed or the account has been created by your administrator, the user can log in to Ketl via app.ketl.ch.

  1. Click the "Microsoft" button
  2. Enter the Microsoft password and accept the access request
  3. Enter your email address (same as the ForenSys account) to validate it
  4. Upon receiving the activation email, open it and click the activation link
  5. Log in with the Microsoft account

  During the first use of Ketl, the user can select the storage systems listed in step 1 and connect them to their account.

  Our team is available to guide you through each of these steps.

  If the email address of a ForenSys account changes, please inform Ketl as well if possible.
